Natural Gas Fuel Facility Opens
For Business
The
Port of Seattle and ENRG Fuels USA, Inc. (now known as Clean Energy
Fuels Corporation) have partnered to develop a
natural gas fuel facility near the Seattle-Tacoma International
Airport. The public access facility, which opened in October 2002, serves Port-owned vehicles, as well as natural gas
vehicles operated by airport tenants and other fleets throughout the
region. Other natural gas vehicle operators in the
region include: Pierce Transit, Puget Sound Energy, Cities of Seattle and
Kirkland, King County, as well as other government and private entities.
The fuel facility
is located on the west side of 28th Avenue South, just off
International Boulevard at the south end of the airport. The Port
has partnered with Clean
Energy Fuels to develop, operate and maintain
the fuel station. Clean Energy is one of the largest providers of vehicular
natural gas (CNG and LNG) and related services in North America,
principally in California and Arizona. Saybr

Energy to construct the facility. The airport CNG facility
represents Clean Energy's first development in Washington State. Those
interested in using the station should contact Sarah Smith of ENRG
Fuels at (800) 663-4555 or ssmith@cleanenergyfuels.com.
Station address: 19425 28th Avenue South (just off 28th Ave S
